Year 12 and 13 students took part in the University of Birmingham ’Raising Aspirations’ Workshop. The workshop was   delivered by the UOB outreach team and was focused on raising aspirations towards higher education.

The outreach colleagues explained how the University of Birmingham is set apart to other universities and gave student an insight on the campus, student life, residency on campus and their wide range of subject specialities.

The Outreach Team also informed students on The Access to Birmingham (A2B) programme, which provides support to  applicants who have little or no experience of higher education, discover what studying at university involves.

Students were given key dates and information needed to apply for the A2B scheme.
