Transition

We acknowledge the importance of the transition to secondary school and have a dedicated transition process in place to support this journey and ensure it is as seamless and stress-free as possible. This involves:

  • Close partnerships with our local primary schools, sharing our resources and expertise through a range of masterclasses, taster lessons and activity days.
  • A Friendship Afternoon in March, providing new students with an opportunity to get to know their school environment and teachers sample our curriculum and start to establish new friendships.
  • A Summer Programme of events.
